LinkPoint can not be linked directly to an ebay auction. There are several options for setting up the LinkPoint gateway with Ebay. OPTION 1 Purchase a shopping cart like LinkPoint Cart that supports Ebay. LinkPoint Cart does not add a button to your Ebay auction but instead will email your customer at the end of the auction to make a payment. You will need to contact CardService in order to purchase LinkPoint Cart. CardService Sales 1-800-456-5902 OPTION 2 Setup an account through AuctionCheckout.com to use your existing merchant account and payment gateway. AuctionCheckout will add a "Pay Now" button to your Ebay auction. Click here for a Flash demo. Please note there is a monthly fee for the AuctionCheckout service. OPTION 3 If you are currently using Andale for your auction checkout you will need to contact CardService and have your merchant account converted from LinkPoint to either Authorize.net or Verisign. OPTION 4 Setup a Prostores Business web store. ProStores is provided by Ebay and integrates directly with eBay and eBay store auctions. The ProStores Business solution is compatible with LinkPoint API. OPTION 5 You can use the LinkPoint Connect option to accept credit cards through Ebay. In order to use LinkPoint Connect, you will need to have a web site that is separate from Ebay. On your Ebay auction you will need to place a link to your web site in order for customers to make a payment. Next you will need to create a page on your web site and copy/paste the HTML code generated below. When a customer goes to your web site they will click on a button that will redirect them to a secure form on the LinkPoint gateway. |
